April 4, 2009 ;Charlottesville Ten Miler: 01:22:33
Great time for me , very happy, very little training - My goal was to come under 1:24 . No cramp issues - great spectator support - I love this race. It kicks off my season and I will know where my running stands -

April 11, 2009: FORD Duathlon (run 2.5 , MTB 12, run 2.5) 2:37:15
1st age group
I'll never forget this one!! First multisport event of season - Rain, rain rain and more rain, then lots mud! Loved it !! i don't train on this course ever - it's tough - steep climbs, rocks, roots, and everything is slick! I had competition this time, and she is a mtn biker from Harrisonburg. It not so bad having company especially on foreign soil - We came in together on the run and she just left me on the bike - I caught up in the end (tortoise and the hare thang' ! ) we transitioned in together - I never had anyone so close on my heels before - it came down to the last run leg - my favorite part! - Konrad puts on a heck of a good event - great prizes and comaraderie (sp?)!

April 18, 2009; Rumpass in Bumpass International , Lake Anna 2:51:54 (s 1500,b24m, r10k)
1st age group ;This was a very last minute decision on my part to race today. Thanks to Geana and Misty who covered coffee tent sales for me - love you gals!! T-times were great, 1st in T1 and T2 and under an hour for the 10k...water was cold...wet suit swim for sure - a good warm up was key in the swim 2/4 this time. Transition from bike to run....ick....had to scramble over pebbles.....hurt my feet !! yikes....I'm not a strong swimmer, but today I was pleased . yah!!

April 26, 2009: Angel Sprint Triathlon , Lynchburg, Va: 1:26:51 (s 300m, b 25k, r5k)
2nd in age group; Great race! Perfect weather - some transition issues (yes , even for Queen of T..) didn't know which way to "run" out...cost Trigal seconds...behind 1st place - how about 31 seconds!! That'll teach me for not "pre-viewing " the course - early season goofs-

May 10, 2009: Kinetic Sprint , Lake Anna: 1:39:22 (s 750m , b 18, r 5k)
3rd in age group ; 5th in ag swim, 3rd on bike in this age group ..I narrowed the gap . T1- first, no splits for T2 or my run - groan .... but I am confident I was first here as I narrowed down my final time - total Time for 1st woman : 1:34;46, 2nd woman 1:38:24, 3r , me ; 1: 39:22 I am not disappointed. No wetsuit for me today - not that cold - I don't climb well with "chilly" legs so early on the bike - it is a net uphill from transition - It was fun having the Tent here today, and thanks to friend Sue Norlander who covered Tent sales - World Bean Roasthers made many new friends today!!!

May 31, 2009 ; Reston Sprint Triathlon: 01:12:51 (s 400, b 12, r 3.1)
1st in age group ; A great day for BSPT !! -- Better swim for me - I was actually 2nd out of 15 ...must be those combat pushups...bike was 3 loops and there are a couple of hills I never made friends with ....

June 14, 2009 XTERRA Atlantic Cup Richmond

I always start with the big "kahuna" yea! Why? This is a point series, and no matter where you place, the points awarded are higher at the "cups" - they have changed the series "championships" to "CUPS " - check out the website for more info: Xterra

Oh yeah!
